How Landmark Resort CEO plans to resolve demolition rift with Lagos govt

The Lagos State government and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Landmark Beach Resorts, Paul Onwuanibe, are in talks regarding how to resolve the issue of the demolition of the $200 billion investment of the resort.

OpporTechies gathered from a post made by Onwuanibe on his official X handle on Saturday.

“I have received firm assurances that there will be no disruptions to business while we work to agree win-win solutions including rerouting the first 1.5 km out of the 700km stretch of the Road to its original location,” the CEO disclosed.

OpporTechies learnt from a Confiance News report that the Lagos State government planned to demolish the resort due to the construction of 700km Lagos-Calabar coastal highway.

However, Onwuanibe has appealed to the government to consider rerouting only 1.5km of 700km to save the investment.
