The TechWomen Leadership Program 2024 is a fully funded exchange program for women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East.
The program aims to empower women leaders in STEM fields, connect them with mentors and peers in the United States, and provide them with professional development and networking opportunities.
The program duration is five weeks, from September to October 2024, and it includes project-based mentorships, workshops, events, and a trip to Washington, DC.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– Be women with at least two years of full-time professional experience in STEM fields.
– Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.- Be proficient in written and spoken English.
– Be citizens and permanent residents of one of the eligible countries at the time of application and while participating in the program.
– Be eligible to obtain a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
– Not have applied for an immigrant visa to the United States in the past five years, except for the Diversity Immigrant Visa.
– Not hold U.S. citizenship or be a U.S. legal permanent resident.The application deadline is January 10, 2024 at 09:00AM PST (GMT-08:00).
