United Kingdom’s (UK) bussiet airport, Heathrow, has cancelled all flights.
OpporTechies gathered from the official X handle of the Heathrow Airport on Friday.
According to the statement posted on X, it said:”Due to a fire at an electrical substation supplying the airport, Heathrow is experiencing a significant power outage.
“To maintain the safety of our passengers and colleagues, Heathrow will be closed until 23h59 on 21 March.”
Heathrow advises passengers not to travel to the airport but to contact their airline for further information.
“We apologise for the inconvenience,” it said.
OpporTechies learnt that over 1300 flights were either cancelled or diverted resulting in travel chaos.
