The Republic, a media outlet, situated in Lagos, Nigeria seeks interns for it’s editorial and commercial teams.
OpporTechies gathered from a recent tweet by the founder and editor of the organization, Wale Lawal, on his official X handle.
He said, “Hi everyone, we’re hiring interns to support our editorial and commercial teams at @republicjournal. Sharing details below this tweet. Pay is N150,000 a month; we’re looking for very smart, media-obsessed undergrads/recent grads who are keen to learn all aspects of our work. 👇🏾”
Reacting to the posts, Lawal said, “
N.B:
- this is a learning position. You will spend most of the time shadowing other people and learning key elements of our work (e.g. our style guide, how to edit, research etc.)
- if you show high potential, we will likely extend a full-time offer after the internship.”
